Armor made by Anton Peffenhauser, German (active Augsburg), master 1545, 1525 - 1603. Made for the guard of Prince Elector Christian I of Saxony, 1560 - 1591 (ruled 1586 - 1591).

Etched and partially blackened and gilded steel; gilded brass; original yellow silk lining; leather (replaced)
